Model - Meet Lucie Meneng Audrey
....How was your weekend people?
This strike is really putting people in a tensed mood. Let's pray it doesn't get out of hand...
Well i got someone interesting for you guys here today.
Her name is Lucie Meneng Audrey.
Q. Ok Lucie, can you please tell us where you live
A. I live in Buea
Q. So, are you a full time model?
A. Not a full time per say, but apart from modelling, i work for Cliq Empire. A marketing and communication company in Buea.
Q. How long have you been modelling?
A. I have been modelling since 2012
Q. If you can remember, since you started modelling, how many runways have you walked?
A. lol i have walked so many runways i couldn't keep count
wow, that could mean a whole lot of runways..

Q. You recently won a beauty queen tittle right?..hihihi i love beauty queens.. please fill us in..
A. I was recently awarded with the 1st RU Miss Beach Cameroon 2016 tittle precisely on the 14th of May .Also because i am a professional model, i've got many contracts and contacts as a result of the tittle, coupled with the exposure and gifts and other perks that comes with being a beauty queen.
Q. Having been into modelling for quite sometime now, tell us, out of experience, how do you feel about the way models are treated in Cameroon -many feel like models are under appreciated- so what's your take?
A. Models are treated differently depending on their employers. I've been in shows where models were treated so well like the models they are, and some other shows, they treat models like they are there to do the models a favor. Most of the time, it is as a result of the models attitude , because some don't mind doing the job for little or no pay. With that, the employers feel like they can just treat the desperate models anyhow they want...why act like you need them when they are desperate..?
eeerrmm that's quite an interesting take on this issue missy..
Q. Again many people believe that, in the quest for popularity, many Cameroonian models have turned to nudity, which is inappropriate ..so what do you think about nude shoots?
A. Nude photo shoot is a part of modelling no doubt, but it is not for public display like we see today. Recently, in the quest for fame, many models have turned to do a lot of nude shoots..we all know nudity draws a lot of attention..I think nude shoots isn't bad for a model but the model should just make sure it is worth it. how much gets into your account when you do such? how much fame and contracts do you get after that? both nationally and internationally ? Nude shoots serve a purpose what is your purpose for doing that?
Q. Who inspires you most in this path of yours?
A. That will be Naomi Campbell for her wonderful catwalk and attitude on the runway.
Q. If you have to thank a few people for your spotlight, who'll they be?
A. Firstly, i owe a lot to my manager Fredash. He taught me most of what i know ..like the catwalk, poses and the attitude .
Secondly, my parents, for always supporting me, even though models have a very bad vibe.
Finally, my friends who always encourage me like Prince Michael Enobi, Foje Jencey and Teboh Theodore.
