A restaurant by the beach is definitely a place to visit in Douala


Ever sat in your house and wondered what you’re going to do with that new outfit before you fall in love with a new one?
Ok I think I’m derailing a little but what I’m trying to say is that everyone needs a moment at the beach even if it is for 2 hours with a bottle of coke and iPhone to take pictures for instagram. Uuuhh What else will you be doing at the beach??
This  place is not really a beach....  well it is a beach but mostly a restaurant. It is safe to say that it is a restaurant by the beach 🏖
Besides what name you choose to call it, this place is so amazing, I can’t remember how I talked myself into leaving but trust me this is definitely where you need to cool down and de stress if you’re in Douala.



The restaurant is called Restaurant Les Mangroves located by the banks of River Wourri in Bonanjo Douala around the Base Navale. It’s green natural sets a level of peace within a person. I’m not even exaggerating, the flowers and beautiful trees and other green vegetation that sway with the vibe of the water definitely speaks to you. 2 or 3 hours away from home or work or just a good time with friends and family is definitely worth spending Restaurant Les Mangroves.


 I hear their food is amazing guys but I didn’t get to taste is because a meal costs at least 12,000frs and your girl is travel blogger on a budget :) so I did well with my bottle of coke, took my instagram pictures and vlogged and still had enough time for a cool time. Bottle of coke cost me just 1000frs ;)
So I had me a good time and all I spent that day with my transport from Bonamousadi inclusive was 2000frs.... amazing right 😀.

This will make you cry!! Nigerian parents burn and burry their termed "witch and wizard" kids alive

See how akwa-ibom parents treat their kids because their local bishop termed them witches and wizards. Some of the parents burnt their kids up and tried burying them alive. A little girl lost her sanity because a 3 inch or so nail was driven into her head.
